Set to be released on Jackies Music Records, ‘Blow My Mind’ showcases an exhilarating collaboration between Boston’s Lee Wilson during his visit to Barcelona. The track was entirely recorded live in Piem’s studio, with a host of his musician friends contributing, including a violinist, guitarist, Rhodes player, bassist, and drummer. The only digital component used in the track is the kick drum.
Titled fittingly, ‘Blow My Mind’ seamlessly blends disco, soul, and funk influences into energetic beats. Its hypnotic groove and intricate instrumental layers provide a solid backdrop for Lee Wilson’s sophisticated vocals.
